With many brokers being sole traders in our industry and with a strong cohort of such in the Sesame Network, our consultancy team have been working with them to establish business plans, helping to manage the growing customer demand and need for advice.
There are only so many hours in a day and for a sole trader the ceiling of productivity comes in on them all too quickly.
One of our members Julie Gilbert who also works closely with us as a Regional Chair in our Network had this challenge a few years ago. After some thought leadership input through our conference and then working with our consultancy team the plan emerged to tailor some administration support into her firm and match this with the growing need for her to find more time for herself and then to recruit.
